Abstract:
To provide a method that reduces a time and effort required for a user to switch modes and creates a more efficient human-machine interface.SOLUTION: A method of a portable computing system including a first housing, a physical keyboard, and a second housing including at least part of individual keys, each of which includes a fingerprint sensor, adjacent to at least one key of the physical keyboard, includes starting a process of logout, reboot, and/or power off of the portable computing system according to a determination that an input at the individual keys is a first type of input, and executing an operation associated with a fingerprint detected by the fingerprint sensor associated with the individual keys according to a determination that an input at the individual keys is a second type of input received while logged in and keeping logged in after the operation is executed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5KK
