Abstract:

To provide a virtual wall system for regulating the movement of a self-propelled cleaner which autonomously moves in a room for cleaning to a restricted region concerning an autonomous moving robot.

This virtual wall system is provided with: a virtual wall system having a first transmission means for transmitting a signal, a first reception means for receiving a signal from the first transmission means, a state detection means for detecting the change of the signal of the first reception means, a second transmission means for transmitting a signal to the autonomous moving robot, and a first control means for controlling the transmission means based on the signal detected by the state detection means; and an autonomous moving robot having a second reception means for receiving a signal from the second transmission means, a moving means for moving the autonomous moving robot, a calculation means for calculating the moving amounts or directions of the moving robot based on the signal received by the second reception means; and a control means for controlling the moving means based on the moving amounts or directions of the moving robot calculated by the calculation means.
