To provide a highly durable viscous body damper which is a compact size with a slim cylinder and is economical at manufacturing costs.
The viscous body damper comprises a rod fixing a piston in the middle of the rod, a cylinder tube movably housing the piston while one end of the rod is projected to the outside, and a packing ground forming an internal space by capping the cylinder tube while the other end of the rod passes through the packing ground. The internal space of the cylinder tube is divided into both sides of the piston, and is interconnected with each other. A cylindrical space being a circular shape in section is arranged in the packing ground, and the circular piston is fitted into the cylindrical space. Further, the cylindrical space is connected with an internal space through a through-hole arranged in the packing ground, and a viscous body is filled up in the internal space and the cylindrical space of the packing ground.
