To provide a visitor reception system for receiving a visitor without making the visitor input by handwriting at the reception of an event hall or a company, managing information on the visitor and further preparing a visitor's card showing that the person is a visitor.

A visitor's business card is read by an image reader according to guidance displayed on a display device 5, and a face picture is photographed by an image photographing device 3. Each input information is processed (temporary storage or character recognition processing by OCR or the like) by an information processor 1, and the processed data are outputted to a printer 7 to issue a visitor's card. An information management device 8 intensively accumulates and manages each information processed by the information processor 1, and information such as a visitor's number set in this system, an acceptance date and a questionaire in a predefined form.
