Abstract:

To provide a method for visually displaying information on a display of a mobile electronic device.

The method for visually displaying information on a display (40) of a mobile electronic device (12) comprises: receiving a position coordinate from at least one other mobile electronic device, receiving the status of the user of the at least one other mobile electronic device; the status being transmitted from the at least one other mobile electronic device; displaying a map on the display of the mobile electronic device (12), wherein the positions of visual identifiers (54, 56, 58 and 60) displayed on the map (52) correspond to the position coordinate received from the at least one other mobile electronic device; and displaying the status of the user of the at least one other mobile electronic device on the display (40).
