PURPOSE: To prevent the contamination and deterioration of the voice apparatus, such as headphone, earphone, microphone, telephone set or hearing aid by the generation and propagation of microorganisms, such as bacteria and mold, rusting of metals, etc., in the parts of the apparatus having many chances for contact with the human body.
CONSTITUTION: The constituting parts contg. an antibacterial/rust preventive agent compounded with three materials namely, one or plural antibacterial ion sources selected from a group consisting of silver, copper and zinc eluting ions having antibacterial performance and the compds. of these metals, one or plural carriers selected from a group consisting of calcium carbonate, calcium phosphate and ceramic materials adsorbing and carrying the antibacterial ion sources and zinc oxide whiskers having a single crystalline tetrapod-like three- dimensional structure as main components are used. For example, the voice apparatus, such as ear headphone or insertion type hearing aid, is constituted of a head band 3, ear contact parts 4, ear plugs, etc. The voice apparatus having the excellent antibacterial/rust preventive functions is provided by such constitution.
