Title:
VOLTAGE MONITORING CONTROL CIRCUIT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2006189405
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a voltage monitoring control circuit capable of holding an operation condition of a shut-down function, even when the shut-down function is operated by instantaneous lowering of a battery voltage, and when a voltage in a voltage monitoring terminal is restored thereafter to a threshold value or more.

A voltage regulation circuit 20 has a control function for regulating a direct current voltage input into the first terminal a to be output from the second terminal b, the shut-down function for stopping the output of the direct current voltage from the second terminal when a direct current voltage input into the third terminal c comes down to the threshold value or less, and a monitoring function for detecting that the direct current voltage input into the third terminal goes down to the threshold value or less so as to output an alarm from the fourth terminal d, a potential dividing circuit 40 divides the direct current voltage input into the first terminal to be applied to the third terminal, and a voltage lowering means 50 lowers the direct current voltage applied to the third terminal forcibly to the threshold value or less in prior to a potential division operation in the potential dividing circuit to hold a state therein, when the alarm signal is output from the fourth terminal.
