Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the title composition excellent in rapid vulcanizability, compression set resistance, and thermal aging properties.
CONSTITUTION: The composition is prepared by mixing 100 pts.wt. epoxy elastomer with 0.1-10 pts.wt. at least one member selected from the group consisting of quat. ammonium thiocyanate compounds of the general formula wherein R1 to R4 are each 1-25 C alkyl, alkoxyalkyl, aryl, alkylaryl or polyoxyalkylene, and at least one of them may be unsaturated or substituted with hydroxyl.
