To provide a walker capable of easily climbing over a step to be an obstacle when used.
The walker 1 includes a body frame 2, an arm rest 3 mounted on the upper surface of the body frame 2, at least a front wheel part 4 and a pair of rear wheel parts 19 which are mounted on the lower part of the body frame 2. The front wheel part 4 includes a support shaft 5 extendedly mounted along a width direction of the body frame 2, a plurality of wheels 7 mounted at different positions around the support shaft 5 and supported by an axle 6 that is parallel to the axis of the support shaft 5, a plurality of support arms 8b that are mounted in response to each of the wheels 7 and rotatably supports each of the wheels 7 or supported by the support shaft 5 and rotatably mounted around the axis of the support shaft 5, and a driving mechanism 9 to rotate and drive the support shaft 5. The driving mechanism 9 includes a motor 10 connected with the support shaft 5 and a control device 11, 14 to control driving of the motor 10 so as to change the wheel 7 on the ground.
