Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable smooth and safe walking of a reflex involuntary person difficult to walk by his own force without dragging his one leg or without engaging his leg finger tip with a step for the purpose of supplementing his walking and to facilitate a method for mounting a walking assisting tool at a low cost.
SOLUTION: The walking assisting tool comprises an inserting section 1 of one side leg 2 provided by a pair of strip-like elastic materials 3. The materials 3 are continuously extended from both sides of the section 1. The instrument further comprises a tie-back section 6 bridged in a tie-back state over a shoulder part 7 at an opposite side to the leg 2 after the materials 3 are crossed at an intersection 5 of the front surface of a human body. The materials 3 are provided in a tensioned state to be able to urge the leg 2 upward in the tie-back state, and the pair of the materials 3 are coupled at a back surface side of the leg. The instrument also comprises an urging section 14 capable of urging the leg finger tip 13 upward and provided under a tensioned state between the front upper part of the section 2 of the leg 2 and the direction of the tip 13.
