Abstract:

To provide a walking robot capable of recognizing a load applied to a foot flat part concretely and improving the reliability of a load measuring means.

This walking robot is provided with a lower plate P51 of the foot flat part F5 coming into contact with a walking road face in zones divided into a plurality of parts, P51-1, P51-2, P51-3, and P51-4 and a robot control part for controlling walking by detecting load distribution of the load applied to the lower plate P51 and utilizing the detected load distribution. A plurality of pressure sensitive sensors S5 are provided per a plurality of zones P51-1, P51-2, P51-3, and P51-4 to measure the load generated between an upper plate P5u and the lower plate P51.
