PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To understand walking situation accurately without disturbing walking of a trainee by providing two walking plates vertically divided immediately below a belt, by providing a load detector one each for front and rear ends of each walking plate and by calculating walking situation of the trainee on the belt from output of each of the load detectors.
SOLUTION: Two walking plates 11R and 11L vertically divided are arranged under a walking face of an endless belt 4 which is driven and rotated so as to separately receive loads of a right leg and a left leg. Also, load detectors 21R, 21L, 22R and 22L are mounted between the center of each of front and rear ends of each of the walking plates 11R and 11L and a supporting base on a frame, and oscillation prevention mechanisms 23R, 23L, 24R and 24L and repulsion prevention mechanisms 25R, 25L, 26R and 26L are mounted. At walking training, the belt 4 is rotated and when a walker steps on walking plates 11R and 11L alternately through the belt 4, loads on each of the walking plates 11R and 11L are detected, and analysis of walking and so on is done by a personal computer 27 from the detection results.
