PURPOSE: To sufficiently increase the strength of the frame of a rice transplanter to permit the compacting of the frame, by branching a power from an engine portion at the front portion of the frame into right and left side transmission cases and a central transmission case to transmit the power to a transplanting mechanism and a spiral shaft.

CONSTITUTION: A central transmission case 12 used also as the frame of a rice transplanter is extended in the rear direction from the rear portion of a mission case 11 and right and left side transmission cases 14a and 14b are respectively branched from the right and left side portions of the mission case 11. Driving power for transplanting mechanisms 4a and 4d on the lateral outsides and for central transplanting mechanisms 4b and 4c is supplied from the lateral transmission cases 14a and 14b and from the central transmission case 12, respectively. A driving member 32 rotation-driven at the rear portion of the rice transplanter drives the spiral shaft, i.e., a seedling-loading table in a laterally reciprocating direction by the engaging guide action of an engaging projected piece 33 with a spiral groove 26.
