Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make it possible to easily operate a positioning and adjusting mechanism to change the relative spacing between a gluing roll and a doctor roll by providing this positioning and adjusting mechanism with vertically turnable lever members mounted at both ends in the front part of a main body part and a display mechanism which displays the positions of the lever members.
CONSTITUTION: A tooth profile 31b of this positioning and adjusting mechanism 30 turns in a direction reverse from a handle part 31a when the handle part 31a is lightly turned in a vertical direction. A sector gear 26 turns to the front surface side or rear surface side of a gluing machine body 1 according thereto. Consequently, the axial end of the doctor roll 10 held by the sector gear 26 is relatively moved in an arrow A direction and the relative spacing between the doctor roll 10 and the gluing roll 9 is changed. Since the operation of the positioning and adjusting mechanism 30 is executed by the levers 31 in such a manner, the easy operation with both hands at one point on the front surface of the main body section 1 is possible. In addition, the levers 31 project from the front surface of a dial 32 and, therefore, the positions of the levers 31 are easily visible.
