To provide a wall paper excellent in safety, easily handleable, having excellent air permeability and containing a man-made zeolite absorbed on it.
The wall paper is produced by the absorption and lamination of the mixture of a man-made zeolite with cyclodextrin as an enclosing compound, on the body of a sheet-shaped wall paper. The man-made zeolite has the following characteristics: base exchange capacity (CEC)= 160-270 meq/100 g; silica≥45%; moisture≤1%; ignition loss≤5%; specific gravity ≥1.95; specific area ≥2,700 cm2/g; passing through a 44-μm standard sieve≥75%; and component ratio (wt.%) Na2O (sodium hydroxide) 4.2-9.1%, SiO2 (silicon dioxide, silica) 36.0-54.2%, Al2O3 (aluminum oxide, alumina) 16.6-29.2%, K2O (potassium oxide) 0.4-1.3%, CaO (calcium oxide, quick lime) 1.8-5.0%, Fe (iron) 2.3-4.5%, water 5.0-8.0%.
