Abstract:
PURPOSE:To facilitate the execution of a side window, etc. by forming an outside wall on a side wall side which forms the steel superstructure of a hull with a nonmetallic single layer panel. CONSTITUTION:An outside wall 4 is placed nearly in parallel to a side wall 1 which forms the hull superstructure of the living quarter of a ship, across a space 12 from the side wall 1. A partition wall 6 is provided nearly at a right angle to the outside wall 4 forming the wall structure of the ship living quarter. Since the outside wall 4 is formed with a nonmetallic single layer panel 15, it is possible to previously cut the panel 15 and form a window hole. The partition wall 6 is formed with a composite panel 20 with a regular size dimension which is formed by filling a heat insulating material 20b in between two thin steel plates, and the panel end part on the outside wall 4 side of the partition wall 6 is projected out into the space 12. And, by adjusting the projecting quantity, the dimension in the direction of the partition wall 6 can be adjusted, facilitating the free arrangement of a living quarter.
