Abstract:
To provide a double-weft layered fabric used as a base cloth for a paper making felt having good surface property, tight packed staple fibers of a batt layer, and good running stability.SOLUTION: A complete texture of a double-weft layered fabric 1 is composed of eight upper warp threads 2, four lower warp threads 3, and four weft threads 4. A basic pattern of weaving of upper warp threads 2 and a lower warp threads 3 of the weft threads 4 is composed of a first part 5 and a second part 6 where a part of weaving one upper warp thread 2 is alternately repeated as a boundary of each other. The first part 5 passes under four upper warp threads 2 and is woven once with one lower warp thread 3 at a center of the weft direction. The second part 6 passes under two upper warp threads 2 and is not woven with the lower warp threads 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
