Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable the actual density of fabric to sharply change according as the density of fabric is changed.
CONSTITUTION: This warp yarn controller is characteristically equipped with a speed controller capable of producing a drive signal for making the actual tension applied to warp yarns agree with the target value and of driving a motor for feeding warp yarns based on the drive signal, with a memory unit capable of storing information representing the relation between the changed amount of density of fabric and the amount of displacement of cloth fell and with a correct ion speed calculation unit capable of determining the amount of displacement of cloth fell corresponding to the changed amount of density of fabric based on the information stored in the memory unit when changing the density of fabric, calculating a correction speed signal for moving the warp yarns by a value corresponding to the amount of displacement determined within a prescribed response time after changing the density of fabric and supplying the calculated correction speed signal to the speed controller so as to add it to the drive signal.
