Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a washing apparatus capable of eliminating washing unevenness between nozzles of a shower pipe, expanding the nozzle pitches, reducing the amount used of water and highly pressurizing washing water ejected from nozzles and to improve a washing power in a washing apparatus for suction roll in paper machine.
CONSTITUTION: In the internal space 17 of a suction roll 1 provided with many suction holes 4 on its peripheral wall, a shower pipe 32 is attached slidably in axial direction of the suction role 1. Washing water is ejected from nozzles 38 towards the inner surface of the suction role 1 while the shower pipe 32 is slid and paper refuse attached on the suction holes 4 is washed off.
