To provide a washing drying machine capable of raising the temperature of laundry by spraying and supplying high-temperature steam in a state that washing water including a detergent is still remained and stuck to the laundry after draining the washing water in a washing process, and thereby effectively removing dirt by the swelling effect.
The washing drying machine includes: a rotary tub 7 rotatably arranged inside a water tub 5 disposed inside a case body 2, so as to wash the laundry; a driving device 8 for rotating the rotary tub; a water supply device 17 for supplying the washing water to the water tub; a drain device 10 for draining; a hot air supplying device 19 for supplying hot air to the inner part of the water tub; and a steam generator 35 for supplying steam to the inner part of the water tub. The machine performs the washing process by stirring rotation after supplying the washing water including the detergent to the rotary tub storing the laundry, subsequently performs an intermediate dehydrating operation at a lower level of dehydration compared with the final dehydrating process, and then, performs a steam washing process by supplying steam to the rotary tub by the steam generator together with the stirring rotary operation of the rotary tub.
