To provide a washing and drying machine capable of preventing winding-up of cooling water by drying air by a simple configuration not accompanied by the complication of a circulation air path.
The circulation air path 5 of the washing and drying machine includes an upward duct 52 continued to a lead-out port 50 opened at the lower part of the bottom surface of a washing tub 2 and a forward duct 53 extending forward from the upper end of the upward duct 52 through the upper part of the washing tub 2. A cooling water pipe 59 for supplying cooling water is connected near a curved part at the lower part of the upward duct 52, a windbreak plate 6 is provided inside the upward duct 52 so as to project at the lower position of the connection part of the cooling water pipe 59, and the flow of drying air rising inside the upward duct 52 hits the windbreak plate 6 and does not directly act on the connection part of the cooling water pipe 59.
