To provide a washing and drying machine improved in vibration-proofing and soundproofing performance of an air blower.
The washing and drying machine comprises: an air blower 62 that sends drying air to a water tank 52 and a rotary drum 53 and includes an impeller 1, a casing 2 housing the impeller 1 and a driving fan motor 3 rotating the impeller 1; and control means 74 successively controlling a series of processes by controlling a motor 54, the air blower 62 and the like. In the air blower 62, the driving fan motor 3 is fixed on the casing 2 so that a drive shaft 7 of the driving fan motor 3 movably fits in a casing hole 2a formed in a central portion of the casing 2, a central seal member 4 is disposed in a space formed in the central portion of the casing 2 and the driving fan motor 3, and the central seal member 4 is held along a radial direction of the casing 2 and the driving fan motor 3, so that vibration-proofing and soundproofing performance may be improved.
