To provide a washing and drying machine capable of accurately detecting clogging of a filter.
The washing and drying machine comprises: hot air blower 61 for feeding hot air to an inner tub 44 and an outer tank 43; a filter 64 arranged between the hot air blower 61 and a heat exchange duct 52 for collecting lint generated from clothes; and differential pressure means 102 for detecting pressure difference between upstream and downstream of the filter 64. The washing and drying machine further comprises controlling means 87, which is configured to determine the filter to be clogged when the pressure difference detected by the differential pressure means 102 exceeds a prescribed level in the drying operation, and allow display means 84 to display that the filter is clogged after the operation ends, thereby advising users to clean the filter and preventing the deterioration of the drying function.
