To provide a washing and drying machine for automatically and efficiently perform forced-air drying and ending the same.
This washing and drying machine is provided with an openable and closable intake window 910 positioned in the substantially central area of an outer cover 9 opening and closing a clothing throw-in port; and a ventilation window 303a provided on an outer tub cover 303 mounted on the upper end of an outer tub 3 to guide the air delivered into the outer tub by rotation of a spinning tub tub 6 and a stirring blade 8 into an outer frame. A main control circuit 106 controls a drive device 7 so as to repeatedly perform forced-air drying operation in which the spinning tub and a stirring blade are integrally rotated at a high speed and cloth replacement operation in which, in the state that the spinning tub is stopped to rotate, the stirring blade is rotated, and to look into the drying state by detection of a cloth amount (rotational load by washings), the drying operation is automatically end.
