To provide a washing and drying machine capable of draining wash water and dew condensation water by a single drain pipe.
This washing and drying machine is provided with a rotary drum 28 for loading laundry, a washing tub 26 rotatably storing the rotary drum, a heat sink 38 recovering moisture from drying air as the dew condensation water when drying the laundry, a waste water tank 67 for storing the dew condensation water recovered by the heat sink 38, a drainage pump 68 for pumping up the dew condensation water in the waste water tank 67, a dew condensation drainage 48 draining the dew condensation water pumped up by the drainage pump 68, a wash water drainage 47 passing the drainage in the washing, and the single drain pipe 49 having one end opened to the atmosphere and the other end connected with the dew condensation drainage 48 and the wash water drainage 47. This washing and drying machine actuates the drainage pump 68 after the lapse of a predetermined stop time, stops it after the lapse of the predetermined operation time, and appropriately drain the both of the wash water and the dew condensation water to the outside of the body 25 by the single drain pipe 49.
