To perform washing capable of saving water and obtaining high washing power.
Washing water of a high detergent concentration is generated by pouring a powder detergent charged to a detergent feeding device 13 into an outer tub 6, the washing water is sprinkled into an inner tub 2 by a washing water circulation pump 32 to permeate laundry, also the washing water is eliminated from the bottom part of the outer tub 6 and a bellows pipe 39, and the air path of an air circulation mechanism is surely formed. Air inside the outer tub 6 is sucked by a motor-driven blower 43 while positively and reversely rotating a pulsating blade board 4, and hot air heated by a PTC heater 46 is blown into the inner tub 2 to increase the temperature of the laundry and the washing water which has permeated the laundry. Thereafter, such a water level that the washing water does not go over the pulsating blade board 4 is maintained, water is supplied so as to be accumulated at the bottom part of the outer tub 6, and the pulsating blade board 4 is positively and reversely rotated while circulating the washing water accumulated at the bottom part of the outer tub 6 so as to sprinkle it on the laundry on the pulsating blade board 4. Thus, upward force is repeatedly made to act on the laundry from the pulsating blade board and washing is carried out.
