To provide a washing/drying machine capable of preventing the entering of bubbles formed in washing into a heat pump and highly efficiently drying laundry in a water tub.
This washing/drying machine is provided with an exhaust port side communication passage 26 communicating an exhaust port 20 of the water tub 2 to the heat pump 14 in such manner that that a part of the exhaust port side communication passage 26 passes through a position higher than the exhaust port 20, and a water filling device 30 positioned in a part between the highest point X in the exhaust port side communication passage 26 and the exhaust port 20 and capable of filling the exhaust port side communication passage 26 with water. Even if the bubbles formed in the wash water in the washing enters from the exhaust port 20 to the exhaust port side communication passage, the bubbles are washed out to the side of the exhaust port 20 (in the side of the water tub 2) by the water filling from the water filling device 30.
