To provide a means which attains sterilization and suppression of mold growth within a tub without depending on a drug or heating in a washing drying machine.
The washing drying machine includes: a nanoe unit 13 generating electrostatic atomization-generated particles; and a blowing fan 9 and a circulation blowing path 11 for feeding the electrostatic atomization-generated particles into a washing tub 2 and an outer tub 3. After washing is finished and laundry articles are taken out, a tub clean course is operated in which the nanoe unit 13 and the blowing fan 9 are driven to apply the electrostatic atomization-generated particles onto the surfaces of the washing tub 2 and the outer tub 3. Thereby, the sterilization and the suppression of mold growth within the tub are performed.
