Abstract:

To provide a washing and drying machine capable of washing with hot water without using an electric heater or a water heater.

The washing and drying machine comprises an outer tub in a cylindrical shape provided inside an outer frame case body, a washing and drying tub in the cylindrical shape freely rotatably provided inside the outer tub for housing laundry, a drying air circulation path for circulating drying air which flows out from the washing and drying tub to the washing and drying tub, and a heat pump device provided so as to be interposed in the drying air circulation path for taking away moisture in the drying air and heating it. In the washing and drying machine, the heat pump device comprises a compressor for compressing a cooling medium, a heat absorber for taking away the moisture of the drying air and a heat radiator for heating the drying air, and washing water accumulated in the outer tub is heated by the heat radiator.
