Abstract:
To surely feed wash water into the washing tub of a washing machine having a self-priming water suction pump by means of priming, by avoiding fluctuation of the rotating speed of a pump motor caused by fluctuation of an AC power supply and variations in the characteristic of the pump motor, and thus holding water-feeding performance constant regardless of the frequency of the AC power supply and fluctuation of the voltage of the AC power supply.
The rotating speed of the pump motor 43 driving the self- priming water suction pump is detected by a rotating speed detecting means and is controlled by a control means 30 according to signals outputted from the rotating speed detecting means.
