To provide a washing machine capable of preventing drying irregularities due to lack of loosening and wrinkling due to too much agitation or the like by appropriately determining the execution time of a blade rotating operation when executing drying by the repetition of a tub rotating operation and the blade rotating operation.

The washing machine includes an operation control means for acquiring an index value reflecting the load applied to a motor during rotary drive every time of inverting the rotating direction of an agitating body in an agitating rotating operation and controlling a drive control means so as to repeat an inverting operation until the index value becomes a prescribed value or is settled in a prescribed range.
