A washing machine includes an outer tub 33 resiliently supported inside a washing machine outer frame 30, a washing and spinning tub 34 rotatably provided inside the outer tub 33, a motor (driving means) 35 for rotating the washing and spinning tub 34, and a drying device 41 for drying laundry articles inside the washing and spinning tub 34. The drying device 41 includes a heat pump 41a provided with a compressor 42, a heat sink 44, a radiator 43 and the refrigerant circulation pipe 45 connecting them, and a case 53 for housing the heat pump 41a, vibration isolating means 54 for reducing vibration transmission is provided between the case 53 and the side part 42a of the compressor 42, and a gap 55 is provided on a part of the vibration isolating means 54.
