Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine capable of securing predetermined rinsing performance with a proper water consumption amount by detecting abnormal foaming during dewatering with good accuracy.SOLUTION: A washing machine includes: a rotary tub; a water tub including the rotary tub; water supply means for supplying water in the water tub; water level detection means for detecting a water level in the water tub; drainage means for draining the water in the water tub; and control means for controlling a series of washing steps of washing, rinsing and dewatering, the water supply means, the detection means and the drainage means. The control means is configured in such a manner that, in the dewatering step, when output detected by the water level detection means exceeds a predetermined value, the dewatering step is stopped.
