PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine capable of suppressing damage of a string-like component extending out of a washing tub and connected to components other than the washing tub.SOLUTION: A washing machine 1 includes: a washing tub 3 rotatable so that an axis line J crosses with respect to the vertical direction Z; and a string-like component 42 extending out from a lower part 3A of the washing tub 3 and connected to the component other than the washing tub 3. A rotary shaft 14 which is the rotation center of the washing tub 3 is at a position lower than the center C of the washing tub 3 in the axial direction D of the washing tub 3 or the center of gravity G2 of the washing tub 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
