Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower noise by reducing abnormal noise such as collision noise produced in changeover to washing and in a washing operation in a washing machine for washing, rinsing and spin drying clothes.
SOLUTION: An agitation blade is rotated by disposing a washing shaft 29 roughly coaxially with a hollow spin drying shaft 26 for rotating a washing and spin drying tub, a slide member 37 is vertically slid by the rotation of a clutch lever 45 and the transmission of the rotation of a driving motor 35 is switched to either the spin drying shaft 26 or the washing shaft 29. An upper projection part 37b is provided on the upper part of the slide member 37 and a fixed side engaging member 46 having a fixed side projection part 46c to be engaged with the upper projection part 37b is attached to a holding member 42. The clutch lever 45 and the fixed side engaging member 46 are abutted so as to provide a clearance between the upper surface of the upper projection part 37b and the bottom surface of the fixed side projection part 46c and between the bottom surface of the upper projection part 37b and the upper surface of the fixed side projection part 46c when engaging the upper projection part 37b and the fixed side projection part 46c.
