To provide a washing machine so devised as to enable simple and quick setting of the conditions of washing operations that a user wants to perform.
The washing machine 1 conducts the control of the washing operations by a control circuit 11. A home terminal 7 is so constituted that it can obtain the information on the washing operations from a washing control information providing server 9 through the Internet 8. When the service of the washing operations is selected, each course of operations of 'rinsing', 'dewatering' and 'drying' is also indicated, together with each course of the operation of 'washing', in an indicating panel 7a. When the course of 'washing' is selected, the conditions of the contents of operation corresponding to the course of 'washing' are indicated as being set, in regard to the courses after the course of 'rinsing'. The user can conduct the washing operations with the appropriate contents of operations set by selecting and setting the corresponding courses, without being aware of the detailed conditions of the operations.
