Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine in which attachment of dirt to the bottom surfaces of an outer tub and an inner tub is suppressed with a simple structure.SOLUTION: The washing machine includes: a housing; an outer tub that is supported in the housing in a vibration-isolated manner for storing water inside; an inner tub that is supported in the outer tub in a vibration-isolated manner for housing laundry; a drive device for rotary-driving the inner tub; a rotary vane that is arranged on an inner bottom part of the inner tub and is rotary-driven; and water supply means for supplying water into the outer tub. The washing machine has a button for setting automatic tub cleaning. When a washing course is started with the automatic tub cleaning being set with the button, water stored in the outer tub by the water supply means is discharged by opening a drain valve in final rinsing, and tub cleaning is performed by closing the drain valve when a water level has reached a predetermined water level higher than a bottom surface of the inner tub, and rotating the inner tub at a rotational speed higher than 35 r/min. When the washing course is started without the automatic tub cleaning being set, water stored in the outer tub by the water supply means is discharged by opening the drain valve in the final rinsing, and tub cleaning is not performed.
