Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine capable of preventing dirt from being attached to the inner wall surface of the upper part of an outer tub or the inner wall surface of the upper part of an inner tub.SOLUTION: A washing machine comprises: an outer tub supported in a housing, for storing washing water therein; an inner tub included in the outer tub, for storing laundry; a driving device for rotationally driving the inner tub; water feeding means for feeding water into the outer tub; a drainage opening for draining the water in the outer tub; a circulating pathway for circulating the water drained from the drainage opening into the outer tub; and a circulating pump provided on the circulating pathway. In the washing machine, a branch part is provided in the middle of the circulating pathway from a delivery side of the circulating pump to the outer tub, the circulating pathway is branched into a first branch pathway and a second branch pathway at the branch part, the first branch pathway is connected to a first water spray opening for spraying water toward the inside of the inner tub, and the second branch pathway is connected to a second water spray opening for spraying water toward the upper part of the inner wall surface of the outer tub or the upper part of the outer wall surface of the inner tub.
