PURPOSE: To eliminate wastefulness that laundry is made dirty due to foam by providing a heating means to supply hot air into an inner tub at the time of drying, and providing a closing member at the aperture part of a hot air supply channel which is opened inside the outer tub by means of the heating means.

CONSTITUTION: When the laundry is dried after dehydration, an inner tub 30 is rotated around a horizontal axial line X-X, the hot air is generated from a hot air generating source 95 of a hot air supply device 94 by the conduction of a fan motor 95 and a heater 98, the hot air is supplied through a hot air supply channel 99 and a rear shaft part 31 into the inner tub 30, and discharged from respective small holes 35. Inside the hot air supply channel 99, an open/ close member 102 is provided, and the hot air supply channel 99 is closed in a normal time. For this reason, the foam generated at the time of an washing operation do not enter the inside of the hot air supply channel 99, and at the time of rinsing, dehydrating, or drying operation thereafter, the wastefulness that the laundry is made dirty by the foam, which flow out of the hot air supply channel 99, surely is prevented.
