A water tank is suspended by a plurality of suspension bars 3 in a box-shaped outer frame, a washing tub serving also as a spinning tub is arranged in the water tank, and a stirring body is arranged inside it. An upper end of the suspension bar 3 is rotatably supported on a support plate provided on a wall on outer frame side, and each suspension bar 3 is arranged on the support plate so as to form a square by straight lines connecting each suspension bar 3. In the same way, a lower end of the suspension bar 3 is arranged in the water tank. A weight detection part is provided at the upper end of the suspension bar 3. This is constituted by a spring fixing material 9 connected with the upper end of the suspension bar 3 directly, a main body case 10 fixing a spring 14, a hall element 19 which is linked to a magnet 11 and detects the displacement of the spring 14, and a mounting base 13 of the magnet 11.
