Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the transmission efficiency of ultrasonic energy to laundry and improve the washing effect by arranging vibrating plates having the surfaces for attaching the laundry and by providing a suction means for sucking the laundry to the vibrating plates in the washing machine. SOLUTION: In washing, after laundry is hooked on a plurality of hollow vibration transmission fins 3 or vibrating plates which are erected on the bottom of the washing tub 1, wash water is poured into the washing tub 1. Secondly, a prescribed frequency of AC voltage is supplied from an oscillator or a vibrator drive means so that an ultrasonic vibrator 2 is vibrated by a prescribed of frequency, the vibration is transmitted to the respective fins 3, and the ultrasonic wave is radiated in the wash water. At the same time a suction pipe 6 drives a pump 5 connected to the hollow part of the fins 3, the wash water filled in the washing tub 1 is sucked from a plurality of holes 4 provided in the respective fins 3 to be sucked in the fins 3 inside, passed through a wash water circulating system constituted of the suction pipe 6 and a top pipe 7, and discharged from a discharge port 8 to the washing tub 1. This operation is repeated so as to wash the laundry.
