Title:
WASHING METHOD AND WASHING DEVICE FOR COIN TYPE BATTERY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3450066
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To completely wash away an electrolyte adhered to and remained on the surface of a crimp sealed coin type battery by washing and drying the battery while being rotated and self-advanced in an approximately vertical posture.
CONSTITUTION: The following means is used at a washing process for a coin type battery having the opening of a coin type outer casing 1 to house a battery element 2 sealed with a sealing body 4. That is, a coin type battery 6 is vertically held on a battery carrier 11, so as to be rotatable, and made to intermittently advance along a constant direction on the operation of a guide mechanism 12. Then, the battery is washed with the first washing water ejection nozzle 13 laid along the travel direction of the carrier 11 in such a state as capable of spraying washing water from upper and slantingly upper positions. Thereafter, the battery 6 is dried by the first drying means the nozzle 13. Then, the battery 6 is treated with the similar second washing water spray nozzle 14 and second drying means located at a position off the nozzle 3 along the travel direction of the carrier 11. In this case, the washing and drying processes are repeated twice.
