To provide a washing method for incineration ash, efficiently removable of chlorine contained in incineration ash, and effectively using coarse particles in the incineration ash as cement material.
The washing method for removing chlorine from incineration ash formed by coagulation of the coarse particles and fine particles includes: a slurrying process of slurrying the incineration ash by adding water in an amount of 1-10 times weight of the ash to the incineration ash from which magnetic foreign matter removable by magnetic sorting is removed, and stirring and mixing the obtained mixture to grind; and a separating process of separating the fine particle-containing slurry that contains fine particles, having a particle size of less than 0.5 mm and high chlorine level, from the slurry; and a process of adjusting a hydrogen-ion exponent to be 3 or more and 10.5 or less by adding one or more selected from the group consisting of hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, carbonic acid, and carbon dioxide to the separated fine particle-containing slurry.
