Abstract:
To provide a washing method which does not cause damage on an object to be washed and which contributes to the improvement in the dirt removal degree of the object to be washed, and a washing machine which uses the method.SOLUTION: A washing method has a washing step of an object 16 to be washed. The washing step includes steps of boiling a washing liquid 18 of the object to be washed, and generating ultrasonic wave vibration in the washing liquid before or after boiling the washing liquid. A washing machine 10 includes: a housing 12; a sealable washing tub 14 disposed in the housing and for receiving the object to be washed and the washing liquid 18; a placement plate 26 of the object to be washed arranged by having a space between itself and a bottom part of the washing tub, and having a plurality of holes penetrating vertically; a decompression device 34 for reducing the pressure of air existing in the washing tub; an ultrasonic wave generation device 36 for generating ultrasonic waves in the washing liquid; a supply mechanism 30 for supplying the washing liquid inside the washing tub; and a discharge mechanism 32 for discharging the washing liquid to the outside of the washing tub.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
