Abstract:
PURPOSE: To wash evenly by soaking a bedcloth sufficiently, and to prevent the dispersing of the water and the scattering of the water from an outer tub, by feeding the water in a washing-cum-spin-drying tub to a water level higher than the water level to wash the other washing article, when the course to wash a bedcloth is selected by an operating member.
CONSTITUTION: In a washing and spin drying machine, an outer tube 4 is supported in a vibration-proof condition inside an outer frame 1 through a hanging rod 2 and a vibration-proof spring 3. A washing-cum-dehydrating tub 5 is provided inside the outer tube 4. Furthermore, inside the washing-sum- dehydrating tub 5, a rotary vane 7 is provided at the center of the bottom. On the other hand, an operation member 20b and a display are provided at the upper side of the outer frame 1. In this case, when the course to wash a bedcloth is determined by the operation member 20b, the water is fed in the washing-sum-spin-drying tub 5 to a water level higher than that to wash the other washing matter, and the washing is carried out. When the course to wash a bedcloth is selected, the washing-cum-dehydrating tub 5 and the rotary vane 7 are integrated, and they may be rotated in the same direction intermittently.
