To provide a waste combustion exhaust gas processing method capable of preventing an exhaust gas exhausted into the atmosphere from changing into white smoke at relatively low cost; and to provide its device.

In this waste combustion exhaust gas processing method and its device, a waste combustion exhaust gas is cooled by an exhaust gas cooler 2 and dust is removed therefrom by a dust collector 5, and thereafter at least a part of the exhaust gas is diverted before heating it in an exhaust gas mixer 7 located at the entrance of a chimney 8 to subject it to heat exchange with the exhaust gas by an exhaust gas heater 3 located on the exit side of the exhaust gas cooler 2 and before the dust collector 5 to heat it, and thereafter mixed with the exhaust gas by the exhaust gas mixer 7 at the entrance of the chimney 8 again to prevent the exhaust gas from changing into white smoke.
