PURPOSE: To save labor in monitoring and cleaning and to remarkably improve the working efficiency of waste crushing work by inserting two shafts of different revolutions in work gears engaged with each other, put one on top of the other and alternatively rotating the work gears in connection with the different revolutions of the two shafts to make the simultaneous treatment of pressure crushing and cutting.
CONSTITUTION: In a waste crusher 1, wastes are passed through the engaged part between work gears 5, 6 engaged with each other to make simultaneous treatment of pressure crushing and cutting. Two parallel A, B shafts 3, 4 rotating at different revolutions are inserted into plural sets of work gears 5, 6 of the same diameter which are engaged with each other in a set of two, put one on top of the other. The work gears of each set 5a, 6a-5f, 6f are alternatively rotated in connection with different revolutions of the A shaft 3 and the B shaft 4 to perform the simultaneous treatment of compression crushing and cutting of the wastes. Consequently, the wastes are given compression crushing by the engagement of the teeth of each set and also torn off, and the difference in velocity between the adjacent teeth causes the wastes to be cut and helps crush them. Further the crushed materials tending to stick on the root of the teeth are repelled by lateral force on cutting to prevent them from clogging the equipment.
