Abstract:

To provide a waste drying method capable of efficiently and uniformly drying waste and capable of reducing drying cost and drying time.

The drying method comprises the steps of heating the waste in heating kilns 21A and 21B by halogen heaters and ventilating air in the kilns 21A and 21B by a ventilation fan 42 to dry the waste. In the process of drying the waste, the halogen heaters and the ventilation fan 42 are controlled by a control unit so as to keep a constant-temperature drying period showing a specific water content reducing tendency of the waste.
