Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the obstruction of fluidity of a thermal storage medium or the deterioration of heat transfer performance by providing a release agent adding mechanism for adding release agent to exhaust gas to be guided to a high temperature side gas channel at an inlet side of the channel.
SOLUTION: A release agent adding mechanism 10 has a container 10a of a fine powder of diatomaceous earth as a release agent on the way of an exhaust gas channel 40 to an exhaust gas inlet 20 of a thermal storage type heat exchanger 11 from waste treating furnaces 7, 9, and a nozzle mechanism 10b for supplying the powder of the earth toward an interior of the channel 40. And, the agent added into the exhaust gas is fed to the exchanger 11 while adsorbing corrosive gas and the like to prevent adherence of the gas and the like to a surface of the medium. Meanwhile, flying ash adhered to the surface of the medium is released to ensure fluidity of the medium. And, the deterioration of heat transfer performance is prevented, and stable heat exchanging operation is maintained.
