Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of waste heat recovery, by a method wherein a quantity of heat recovered from exhaust gas energy from an internal-combustion engine is guided to a main steam separating drum, and by means of steam and thermal water, separated in the drum, a mixed pressure type steam turbine and a hydrothermal flush turbine are driven. CONSTITUTION:Heated steam, guided from a heating part 13 of an exhaust gas economizer 1, is fed to the high pressure side of a mixed pressure type steam turbine 4, and saturated thermal water stored in a main steam separating drum 2 is fed to a hydrothermal flush turbine 3. All low pressure steam, generated at the flush turbine, is fed to the low pressure side of the turbine 4 to drive the turbine 3 and the turbine 4 to recover waste heat. Especially, a part of energy of necessary steam can be fetched as electric energy by the turbine 4, and this produces an effect of impriving the output of the turbine 4. This enables a decrease in the temperature at an outlet of exhaust gas, and further enables recovery of a low temperature waste heat from cooling water, lubricating oil, and scavenging air to be recovered as thermal water.
